Top college athletes meditate for better performance

The award-winning Trinity Squash team from Hartford, CT is ranked #3 in North America. In the fall of 2009, all of the young women on the Trinity Squash team—as well as their coaches—learned the Transcendental Meditation Technique to improve their athletic performance and reduce their stress. They meditate together every day as part of their training. The team is made up of world-class athletes representing 10 different countries. They also represent different religions; Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist.
This video showcases this phenomenal team’s success and highlights the effects of TM on the student’s stress levels, anxiety, depression, and self-efficacy.
